Judged Dread

► Nice! I just got 3 notice alerts from Ebay saying Wynn Ryder shipped my 9 latest sketchcard commissions today. Fantastic!

► God what a draggy morning. I'm basically killing time until my brother picks me up at noon to house sit for him. I should probably be spending the time washing all the dishes, but I just don't really feel like it right now.

At the moment I actually feel mildly ill. It seems like that's been the case for most of this past week, and I have to wonder if it might just be the result weather changing, my keeping my window open while it gets progressively colder, and the insidious influence of my nerves and worry regarding my recent postal issues. That I have to leave the apartment to house sit for two days isn't helping matters. Especially since my stomach has been a bit upset after actually eating yesterday (this past year my neuroses have pushed me to need to fast the day before going out, to avoid stomach issues cause by my overactive nerves).

I'll be fine once I get to the house and start watching some of the DVDs I'm bringing, but until then I have to sit and try to ignore the pre-apartment-sefety-leaving-jitters.

If I'm feeling better in the afternoon, I might order a pizza and some french fries from Cornwall Bar-B-Q. I still have the $20 Dad gave me the other day, and my brother and sister-in-law never really have anything I like, so what the hell.

► That was a really odd sight yesterday morning. Yesterday around 8:00am I heard a noise and thought that it might be someone at our front door. I went to check but there was no one on the landing or in the building entrance, so I looked out the front window to see the mustached middle-aged guy who's been working across the street get dropped off by a woman.

I went back to my room and computer, but a little under an hour later I heard another noise and again went to check if it was a postal delivery. Glancing out the window again, I saw the mustached man get on the small forklift that they've been using for a few months, back it up, and then suddenly gun it and speed off down the road. I've never seen anyone drive a forklift like that, let alone down residential streets.

Neither the man nor the forklift have returned. As I said, it was just odd.

Charlie Sheen says he'd guest star on 'Men': Wait, what? - That seems rather foolishly optimistic after he burned every bridge he could. Is Charlie Sheen bipolar? It shocking to see him so much more lucid and demure after more than half a year of Batman villain level mania. I don't know about tiger blood, but it certainly seems like he has his tail between his legs now.

As an aside, two Batman villains I really liked in the late 1980s were KGBeast and NKVDemon. Admittedly, mostly because of the names.

Ranking the 13 Most Successful Victoria's Secret Models Turned Actresses - Apparently success is relative. I'm not sure a one time guest appearance on a sitcom or a cameo in a movie makes a person an actor/actress.

13 tasty (and sometimes terrifying) sci-fi cookie jars - I would most definitely like to have the TARDIS cookie jar. The E.T. cookie jar, however, disturbs me. He looks more like a naked shriveled cancer patient who just had his stomach stapling surgery. That's not an image I want in my head when I'm getting a cookie.

ROFLrazzi: I Love Punishment - That should have been Xena's main outfit.

Quote of the Moment

Principal: Mr. Madison, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Billy Madison: Okay, a simple "wrong" would've done just fine.
