Happy Canada Day!
► It's Canada Day! Yay! I think I'll celebrate the way I do every year: sit at my computer in my pajamas and download porn. It's a plan!
► Waking up earlier, I expected I would be in a lot of pain after yesterday. Other than some mild aching in the soles of my feet, and slight aching in my right arm and my ribs and lower back, I'm pretty good. I will say the scratch I got on the palm of my hand stings a bit, but it's a pathetically shallow scratch (I think I must have gotten it from either the stove or the clothes dryer, I put some alcohol based hand cream on it a few minutes after I noticed it yesterday). All-in-all I could be feeling much worse.
► 'Age of Conan' becomes free-to-play - Whoa, whoa, whoa! With the limitations and differences between the paid subscription version of the game, and the more bare-bones free-to-play version, they don't mention the most important thing: does free-to-play allow topless characters? Are there tits? I gots ta know!
► Parting Shot: I Have No Mouth and I Must Starscream - Edvard Munch and Transformers mash up. Because why not?
► 9GAG: Copper Penny Floor - Granted I don't know much about science and I'm only a high school graduate, but I can't help thinking your chances of conducting electricity through your body in a freak accident would increase if you had a copper floor.
► SuperHeroStuff.com: Superman Canadian Flag T-Shirt - I would want this, although I think it would work better on a red T-shirt.
► 20 Of The Most Beautiful French Actresses - I love French women... Certainly not a definitive list, but most of my personal favourites are on here.
► Adrianne Palicki Is 'G.I. Joe's' Lady Jaye - Lady Jaye is going to be in the upcoming G.I. Joe sequel, on top of Dwayne Johnson playing Roadblock? Awesome! This makes me feel much better after the rumours the movie would focus mainly on ninja stuff (which I think is better kept as garnish in G.I.Joe, and not a focal point).
► 'Thor 2' confirmed for July 26, 2013 - I'm disappointed that Kenneth Branagh won't be directing the sequel since I think it was his Shakespearean theatre sensibilities that helped the movie bridge the mythological pomp and circumstances with the human emotional core. I'd be afraid of them getting a journeyman director who'll make a generic superhero flick for the sequel.
► The Rocketeer 20th anniversary by John Banana - A wonderful tribute to the 1991 Rocketeer movie, and to the late Dave Stevens.
