I Have The Power! ...company receipts

► Yeah, yeah, yeah... I always worrying and build things up worse than they end up being. That's why they're called anxiety disorders.

Finally went to the electric company this afternoon and got my year worth of bills reprinted (for my pension file meeting next week). Not surprisingly I did not spontaneously combust or lose control of my bodily functions after leaving the apartment and upon entering their building. Of course that doesn't mean I won't be doing the freak out routine as next Tuesday's appointment sneaks up behind me with a sock full of quarters.

After taking care of business at the electric company (which makes it sound more dramatic than it is), Dad and went to Walmart where I picked up a few grocery items. How lame is it that I get most of my groceries at Walmart? Eh... it's cheaper.

Since we were there, I decided to try searching for that $20 complete first season DVD set of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe my friend Gene told me about a couple of weeks ago. After spending 5 frustrating minutes scanning the aisle (made difficult by 2 workers with full carts restocking shelves) I thought it would be in, I gave up and turned into the next aisle... right as Gene was walking by. He went and quickly got a copy of the DVD set for me. So I bought that.

When I got home later I watched the first episode and was surprised at how good the quality was. It's a smaller company after all that usually does cheap releases. Anyways, 1 DVD set with 65 episodes for $20. I'm reliving my childhood one piece at a time.

I hope they release a complete set of season 2, and complete season sets for She-Ra.

► Is it horribly wrong that I always get terribly naughty thoughts every time I see pictures of Kate Middleton? Yes? No? I find her extremely attractive.

This isn't something new, as she's been in the public eye for the better part of a decade now. It's just that I'm seeing her everywhere now that the royal wedding is coming.

I just like posting mini pic galleries.

Yanko Design: G-Spot Mouse by Andy Kurovets - That's a very... interesting design. Remember to finger the scroll wheel firmly, but tenderly.

'World's first 3D porn film' opens in Hong Kong - There's long been a line of thought that pornography propels technology. No idea if that's true or not, or even what the relevance is to this article. I'm tired.

7 Directors Who Think They Can Act - **Spoilers** They can't. Although does anyone seriously expect (or want) anything but grilled cheese and ham from Mel Brooks?

M. Night School - Furthering the M. Night Shyamalan hate, there's actually a movement to earn enough money through donations to send M. Night back to film school. I think he needs creative writing courses more than film school.

New Setback for Warner Bros. in 'Superman' Litigation - Christ... can't they just make a deal and end all this needless acrimony?

10 Vehicles That Are Alive - What? No love for the Lexx? Also known as dragonfly looking ship from that creepy pervy Canadian show that totally ripped off Farscape, two years before it debuted.

Lexx also has the ignominy of partially inspiring the costume for my main superheroine Utopia.

Quote of the Moment

Dr. Kazan: We were meant to be partners in greatness! Your home will be the entire universe, aboard the Lexx, with me at your side! We'll be the crew, you and me! Be bold, Zev, don't compromise yourself with sentiment! Together we can own the universe! You know this is what you want! You are one of the chosen, we both are! Seize your fate!
Zev Bellringer: Can't we just have sex instead?
