And I'm Back
► And I'm back from house sitting. Eight days of boredom. When I got to the house last Sunday I was surprised to find that they had taken the laptop with them on their trip. That meant I had no internet access, and only had my box of unwatched DVDs to entertain myself. As such I watched no less than 47 movies in 8 days (see below for the full list).
Other than a couple of nights, I had both dogs most of the time. My sister-in-law Jen's younger sister dropped in often for things, and she and their mother were by yesterday for several hours working on cakes. I wish I had had some cake. :-(
Dean also stopped by twice to drop off 2 packages for me. I finally got my last two Ms. Marvel tradepaperbacks. Unfortunately I still haven't gotten my British adult DVDs (the website did say it could take up to 28 days, so I could have another week or so to wait).
After more than a week without a computer, I'm actually having an awkward time re-accumulating myself to the keyboard and mouse. I'm not entirely sure why that is. My journal entries might be a little sparse for awhile as I try to get back to my old routine.
► My brother and sister-in-law gave me a Disney novelty T-shirt as thanks for house sitting. It's cute enough, I guess.

► When Batman Fans Are in Taiwan and Have Hired a Prostitute, This Is Where They Go - A Batman theme hotel room that can be rented for $50 for 3 hours. That's not creepy either.
► If You Watch It Backwards - Another site that's amusing me way too much and that I'll end up wasting too much time on. My current favourite:'If you watch it backwards, SCHINDLER’S LIST is the happy story of German soldiers rescuing Jews from an unproductive factory, nursing them back to health, clothing them, and helping them move into temporary living quarters in Warsaw.'
