► Frustrated tonight. The past few days have been tough on my nerves, worrying about the house sitting and whether my brother would be able to take me to get groceries when he picked me up today. Everything was compounded when I woke up on Wednesday in excruciating pain. The dental and/or sinus pain I had in my right side jaw, cheek and orbital bones back in January had returned. The worrying and the pain has made it hard to sleep these past few days.

Spent all day feeling sick to my stomach from nerves. My brother was supposed to pick me up by 6:00pm tonight. At 6:40pm he finally called to tell me that he wouldn't be able to pick me up because "things are hectic" at the house. I suggested my sister drive me but he again said that it was "too hectic". He instead asked that she drive me to the house tomorrow at noon, as his sister-in-law would be at the house and she'd give me the spare keys and let me in. As for food, I can help myself (to all the stuff they have that I don't eat).

I'm frustrated and Dean's pissed off. Now officially this is because "things are too hectic" but I can't help but wonder if my sister-in-law just doesn't want to spend 1 night under the same roof as me. Deana was really angry because of the perceived jerking around they keep doing to me while I'm doing favours for them, and she keeps insisting that they should at least give me some food money while I look after their house for over a week. Myself, I don't understand why they even need me to house sit when my brother said that his sister-in-law will be at the house often this week working on cakes while she's on her March break from work.

Honestly, I can't think of any reason for my not spending the night as planned,* other than my sister-in-law just not wanting me there while she is. I guess I really should just start telling them "no". I'm just tired of being treated like an unwanted second-class citizen, and having to watch over the house they kicked me out of.

Eh, knowing me I'll probably cool down later and feel guilty about this post and venting. If I was evil I could have not told him tonight was Daylight Savings. They had no idea and might have missed their flight in the morning.

* The point was for a smoother transition in the morning without upsetting the dogs, and so my brother could show me how to work the washer and dryer. It'll be a massive headache if my brother's sister-in-law isn't there to let me in tomorrow. I'll probably have to spend the week keeping a respectful distance from her too.

► Further disappointment this week as my tradepaperback and DVD packages didn't arrive in the mail this week as I had hoped. Now I'll get to worry about those all next week as I sit at my brother's place twiddling my thumbs.

Top 10 Sexiest MILFs in Movie History - What? No JoBeth Williams in Poltergeist? Bullshit!

Alec Baldwin: Two and a Half Men Is Better Than None - Baldwin, via his blog, weighs in on Charlie Sheen, offers advice on dealing with studio executives, and finally explains why he wasn't in the Jack Ryan movie sequels. The most level headed and reasonable Sheen advice I've heard yet.'But you know what you should do? Take a nap. Get a shower. Call Chuck. Go on Letterman and make an apology. Write a huge check to the B'Nai Brith. And then beg for your job back. Your fans demand it. You will never win because when you are as big a douchebag as some of these guys are, they have no choice but to snuff you. (Do you secretly want to get snuffed? So you can go back and make movies?)'

Garfield Minus Garfield

Quote of the Moment

Dr. Ronald Chevalier: [Presenting artwork for his legendary trilogy The Cyborg Harpies in the auditorium] This is a piece that came to me in a dream when I was 11. I call it Migration, and it depicts a fleet of harpies synchronizing their mammary cannons to create laser-rain. A hard rain's gonna fall. And finally we have a youngling trying to penetrate the secrets of the human mind. You won't do it like that, youngling. You must use friendship.
