Attack Of The Evil Chips From Hell
► God damn, the Walmart brand of chips are no longer edible. Had some this morning and I've been laying in bed all day feeling sick to my stomach, with my hot water bottle turning my skin beet red.
I'd try throwing up to feel better, but I haven't "been sick" in 15 or 16 years. Years or extreme Emetophobia have seemingly made it impossible for me to physically be ill. And I apologize for the disgusting opening topic.
Going to watch some porn to try to take my mind off of my gut.
► Dad called me earlier this evening to say that while he and his girlfriend will be going out tomorrow, they want my sister and me to come over on Sunday for dinner. With my stomach flip flopping I didn't want to talk about food, but he asked what I'd most want for dinner and I said spaghetti. In hindsight I should have said something simpler. He also asked what kind of cake I wanted but I couldn't think because I was feeling even more nauseous, so he's supposed to call me tomorrow to ask again.
Would love a lemon cake. Haven't had one since I was a kid.
► Weird. Dean when out this evening to run some errands and visit a friend, saying she'd be back after midnight. She sent me a private message via Facebook to say she couldn't find The Big Bang Theory: Season 3 (I only saw Bluray copies at Walmart on Wednesday) so she apparently bought me something else instead. Says she hopes i haven't bought it, but suspects I did.
Wonder why she didn't just call.
Edit (Sept, 25th, 1:45am): Dean just got home. She bought me 30 Rock: Season 4. Nice!

► Watch The Trailer For All-Star Superman - Well, that does look pretty cool, for what they show. It's just the Superman/Luthor plot parts of the 12 issue series, which only makes up about a quarter of the story. I wonder if this is just to whet appetites, or if they've taken out all the fantastic, far-out, Silver-Age epic orgasm crazy stuff Morrison and Quitely had in the comic, all the Twelve Challenges of Superman beats. Arm wrestling both Atlas and Samson at the same time... Solving "the impossible riddle"... The plague of Bizarros and the escape from the Underverse... the journey through time with the Superman Dynasty. As a fan of the All-Star Superman comic book, the trailer seems pretty anemic.
I'm sad to say, I think I'm disappointed. It just seems small, and surprisingly dark and depressing for such a wonder and awe inspiring uplifting story.

► First Look: Chris Evans Wears Prosthetic Feet On Captain America Set - The first photos of Chris Evans as Steve Rogers. I'm amazed it doesn't seem to have occurred to the article's author that the prosthetic feet are to protect Evans from injuring his own feet running barefoot on city streets. It's not exactly new. Lou Ferrigno used to wear false feet slips in The Incredible Hulk TV show when filming outdoor scenes.
