MalcolmD says: I liked Kyle MacLachlan as Superman on New Frontier--they took some risks in their casting on that movie, and I can't think of a single choice that backfired on them. Are you a fan of the voice actors (Tim Daly and George Newbern) that they used for the DCAU Superman?

I thought Daly was perfectly fine as Superman. Newbern was good, but I thought he sounded a bit too youthful. He just didn't seem as commanding a vocal presence that Superman should be.

Kyle MacLachlan just blew me away in New Frontier. His voice sounded perfect for the 50s era, and was a great mix of accessible and commanding.
