► It's been a tough week for my ribcage and back. I've had to wear my torso wrap bandage every day and night this week, to hold my old busted ribs in place. Lamented about it to Dean and she said, with certainty, that it's because of the dampness. I've been trying to refrain from popping acetaminophen for the pain and make do.

► So, a week's wait before it was shipped. Five days to travel three and a half hours (in the opposite direction). And now 3 days stuck there. Clearly my Amazon order is arriving via slaves in a lead sarcophagus.

Edit: Amazon finally updated the status. The package is now in Mississauga, Ontario, roughly five hours away. Checking Google Maps, this means after they shipped it, it had to backtrack part of the way. Me thinks it got lost for a bit. Whoopies!

► Chatting with dirty comics internet artist Turk last night, I jokingly asked him if he did birthday request sketches. He replied that he did indeed, and linked me to a bunch. After asking me what kind of subjects I preferred (superheroines and hairy bush, of course) he sketched up this great, fun drawing of Marvel Comics' Medusa:

Rally to Restore Sanity - Is this real? I so very much want this to be real.

FullBushesMainstream: Hairy bushes in mainstream movies - Sometimes in life you find things that seem made for you.

I can't remember if I actually posted that link before, but I've been meaning to post it all summer.

What's DC Entertainment's Next Move? - It's starting to sound more and more like the formation of DC Entertainment last year was just a means to the end of allowing Warner Bros' to side step corporate structure and do a complete take over or their sister company. Everything they say sounds like they're planning to raze and strip mine DC Comics and their library of characters. At the very least it sounds like Warner Bros is suddenly running the show at DC now. Could it be that Marvel Comics under Disney is in a safer position, structurally and editorially?

Denton, Hendricks, LaPaglia lend voices to 'All-Star Superman' - I was actually hoping they might possibly get Kyle MacLachlan back to voice Superman (he voiced him in Justice League: The New Frontier), but Jamie Denton is a fair choice. Love the idea of Christina Hendricks as Lois.

* Years after The Pretender, I just can't bring myself to call him "James" Denton.

14 Hilarious Talk Show Screen Grabs - My favourites are "Darren - wants a drama-free relationship" and "Veronica - admits she's obsessed with pooping". We need to get these 2 crazy kids together.

Move Over, Taylor Lautner! There Are Some New Hairy Beasts Coming to Town - From the article:'Teen Wolf is a "reinvention" of the 1980s flick starring Michael J. Fox, says series writer and co-executive producer Jeff Davis. "It's a teen horror show," he tells me. "It's going to be scary, funny and hopefully sexy."'
A funny, quirky TV show about a werewolf. I remember it when it was called Big Wolf On Campus.
