► Last night was tough. I went to bed at midnight only to wake up at 3:00am in excruciating pain. My messed up left side
Temporomandibular joint was flaring up and sending shooting pain through my jaws and teeth. Had to pop 4 ibuprofen to try to get the pain to subside and it was still hurting. I ended up not falling asleep again until after 6:00am.
Luckily I was able to get a few more hours of shut eye and ended up rested enough to run some errands with Dad. I'm hoping that the TMJ pain is just because of the cold and rainy weather, and that it's not becoming inflamed as it was in December and January. Really don't want that.
► Bit happy. I finally got
CHiPs season 2 on DVD today! Happened to glance over while passing by the DVD area and saw it in the under $20 TV show set display for only $12 and change. Now if they'll just release more seasons...
I've had the theme song stuck in my head since I left the store.

Doctor Who series 5 is supposed to premiere in Canada tomorrow night (if I'm not mistaken). Was making a note to watch it, but I suppose I can already do that online if I really want to. I still haven't seen any of
series 4, and only saw a few bits of
last year's specials, but I don't think I need to have seen them since this is a new jumping on/start up point.

Minnesota mother objects to Bone's content and library availability - Jesus Christ... morons! There is nothing in
Bone (
one of the most acclaimed and awarded comics ever) that was in
Disney and
Looney Tones cartoons and features through the 30s to the 50s. You can find more offensive things in
Donald Duck comics.
►
Roger Ebert vs. Harry Knowles on the Politics of Kick-Ass's Hit Girl - What the hell is
Knowles smoking? My interest in the movie is minimal, but mostly because I can't stand the
comic's writer/creator
Mark Millar, who's entire career seems based on seeing what he can get away with (including a disturbingly repetitive obsession with anal rape) while shamelessly pursuing Hollywood (the Kick Ass comic book was created as a movie treatment, and sold to the movie studio before it was even written). Big difference between a film like
Taxi Driver and a schlock movie like
Kick Ass.
► Does adding
Yakety Sax (aka the
Benny Hill Show theme) to
Steven Spielberg's
War of the Worlds make the movie better? I believe this is an affirmative.

Léon: When it's tough like this, you know it's gonna be ugly. Better make it quick, or else you will be here all day listening to his crap.
