It's not exactly a glowingly exuberant exclamation, but 2009 wasn't that bad. Certainly better than 2008. A lot of good things happened this past year, the high points being the February 9th birth of my niece, Abby, and receiving that Big Barda sketch and the posters from Adam Hughes for winning that 2004 contest.
That was back in January/February too. Hmm... guess 2009 peaked early for me.
► My most recent Amazon.com order arrived this morning just after 8:00am. Got my final Christmas gift.
Spent the remainder of the morning watching the 6 episode The IT Crowd season 3 set. I don't know if I built it up in my head, or if it's because I had seen seasons 1 and 2 a couple of years ago and these were new to me, but the set just didn't seem as funny as the previous ones. They just didn't seem to cut loose as the earlier ones, and I didn't laugh aloud that often. Maybe they need a second viewing.
Edit: Deana asked to borrow the set. She insisted that I was probably just too tired when I watched it this morning so she insisted I watch it with her. She must have been right because this time I laughed my ass off. Season 3 is funny.
