How Does One Know Whether They're Winning Or Losing The Human Race?
► Sure slept a lot today, something like 15 to 16 hours. I wasn't able to fall asleep Thursday night, seemed to stay wired from the anxiety brought on by being at the mall and that sudden need to go potty. Actually antsy about having to go out Christmas shopping on Monday. Eh, it was a one time thing. Had to be.
Keep telling myself that I'll be fine as long as I don't drink any of that pulpy orange juice the night before.
Regardless, I wasn't able to sleep and spent all yesterday in a groggy daze, jittery and restless. That made sitting at the computer difficult so I spent most of yesterday afternoon and evening in bed watching a little less than a dozen episodes of Criminal Minds on A&E. They were having a marathon. Come midnight I brushed my teeth, put on my sleep mask, and promptly slipped away to slumber land. It's surprising how much the mask can help me sleep.
► The Amazon package with the stuff Dad and I ordered arrived yesterday afternoon at 4:15pm. Give or take.
With the DVDs I've purchased in the past 2 weeks, my To Watch stack is huge again. It doesn't help that in this same time I've again stopped watching DVDs. Gotta get back on track.
What amuses me is that Amazon.ca now uses UPS for delivery, instead of the Canadian company Purolator, as the used to.
► Are Horror Films Supposed To Be Scary Or Fun? - I'd suggest that most modern horror films aren't so much scary, but rather just disgusting.
► Hawkman, Dr. Fate and Stargirl oh my! - Two more pictures were released showing costumes for the upcoming Smallville TV-movie guest starring the Justice Society of America. I'm shocked to see how true to the comics they're being with the costumes. You're impressing me Smallville. That really shocks me.
► A combination of 2 of my favourite things: The Muppets and Queen. My favourite bit? The duet of Beaker and Bobo Bear singing the Galileo section.
