...It Goes On And On And On...
► Watching TV with Dean when CSI: Miami started. Opened with a woman begging David Caruso's character to find her missing daughter. The hysterical mom begged saying "she's just a small town girl!" I suddenly turned to Deana and starting singing the next couple of lines of Journey's Don't Stop Believin'.* She laughed.
I went to my room and a few minutes after she shouted at me from the living room "Thanks a lot! Now I have it stuck in my head!" Mission accomplished.

She took the midnight train going anywhere...
► Geebus... For the past week we've been having increasing frost in the mornings as the temperature drops. That is until today, when it's been surprisingly mild out and getting warmer. My room tonight is actually hot because of the closed door and window, and my computer running for several hours. And, I suppose, porn raising my body temperature too. Just sayin'.
I'm just surprised since it's friggin' November 9th. Actually have to open the window a bit tonight.
► Went out this afternoon with Dad, sort of a spur of the moment thing. Visited with my grandmother for awhile. She asked me what it was in the wall unit display cabinet that she had promised me after she dies. At 89 I suppose you think about these things more. Bit of an awkward conversation, nonetheless. Turns out it was the incomplete set of vintage ruby red and deep blue drinking glasses she gave me a couple of years ago. Really wish I had a place for them in the apartment other than a box in my closet.
Afterward Dad and I popped into Walmart to look for some things. Somehow, miraculously, I did not buy any DVDs. Just a loaf of whole wheat bread, jam, toothpaste (Sensodyne F), and 3 bags of chips. I felt empty, hollow, and unfulfilled standing in the checkout line and leaving the store.
One of the main reasons I wanted to go to Walmart was to finally buy a copy of the leather jacketed Megan Fox Transformers poster (pictured on the right) that's been staring at me from the side display for months. Today was going to be the day I finally bought it. Of course, there were no copies (other than the display one). Nuts. My love/hate feelings for Megan continue.
Rather disappointing shopping excursion.
