"go gentle into that good night"

do not.

so here we have entry two in the quest for my realization that life is Exciting! and worthwhile... etcetra..

How can it be that within a matter of a day's time I can feel so important and yet so useless, alive and yet dead. that's right, dead on the inside. it seems too simple in this modern age to reach out. reaching out to the electric box that all our furniture is angled towards, trying to grasp something, perhaps another human voice. a voice calling out across the sound. And then it hits me like a ton of bricks; when does life really begin, and for that matter, when does it end?

Not that I've entirely given up, who's to say really where I'll be in 6 months?

At any rate, the happening of the time since I left you, dearest void of internet space, are filled with random happenings, of my own design. I went to the Faith Hill and Tim McGraw concert, which was a good time, and Kiley had some pretty awesome seats. Tim McGraw touched my hand, so that was cool, and Kiley got a pick from the guitarist. We were literally feet from the catwalk, which was awesome. I even knew quite a few of the songs they played.
Then we went home and proceeded to watch tv until death do us part, or I got tired and went to bed.
Got up today, watched some more tv, National geographic channel and the like, until I decided it was time to go sell my books back and talk to Mike for a while. I think I'll mostlikely be picking up hours at the bookstore come a few weeks from now. so that's nice. I also dropped off my timesheet at the DNR and went to woodman's to buy bleach and laundry detergeant. Fun fun.
Then I got home and made dinner, after which I drove over to my friend Nikki's apartment and we went to see the Da Vinci Code at Eastgate. It was fairly good, although I find myself more and more to be dissatisfied with the selection that mainstream theatre feeds me. I think that the movie was good though. Afterwards, I drove Nikki home, ever fearful that I'm talking too much on the carride. All in all it was a good time.
Then since the roomies weren't home, I decided to watch the Princess Bride and drink some of the wine my mom sent me home with. All a ploy to engineer me as an alcoholic who drinks alone. Well its working.
I thinkthat my roommates have just returned from seeing the Da Vinci code, or at least ten bucks says so. Of course they couldn't go with me ;)
Life is so predictable.
