Last night Jill Scott saved my life

Yesterday was a good day. I went to classes, and I found out that I got a B on the Blacks in the Arts test that I was sure that I failed. Then, i went to study with Robert in the library after class. Me and my friend Steven went to a candlelight vigil for Matthew Shepard last night. It was really sad. on Friday, ABC's "20/20" aired a story about how APPARENTLY ACCORDING TO THE KILLERS Matthew Shepard's murder was not a HATE CRIME, it was just another death. FUCK THAT SHIT! HOW DARE ABC EVEN TRY TO EXPRESS THAT! That pissed us off. So, the Student's for Equal Rights Campaign held a vigil in remebrance and protest outside of the ABC-TV station in D.C. And there were only like 15 of us there, and the people tried to make us move off of the sidewalk, and a bunch of cops came, it was fucking ridiculous. They tried to make us move because they were trying to shoot a report on the sidewalk, butwe wouldn't move, so they moved to another block. That made me happy. The worst thing is, the TV station is in the fucking classified gay district of D.C. So, me and Steven passed out the flyers to people on the street, and we went to different stores and asked them to put up the memorial picture in their stores, and some did, so it made me feel really good. It makes me sad to think that someone may go around thinking that Matthew Shepard's death wasn't motivated by hate. but at least they will know that someone doesn't agree with that.

I also went to Robert's last night. My night ended well, I'll just say that. ;)

NEVER FORGET MATTHEW SHEPARD. Spread the word.
