If The Sun Comes Up Tomorrow
Well, 3 years (or so) of a break ain't bad, right?
As with my previous post, a lot of things have happened. The biggest thing to note is that, after 5 years of devotion to the woman whom I thought I would grow old with and raise a family with broke things off with me a little over a year ago. Of course, despite what you would think, this post won't be mournful or resentful. No, that's been discussed in private with those who were closest to me, including a new friend that I made along the way who became a brother to me. The most I can say is, well, you never really see the forest for the trees. Once you are out of said forest and are able to look back on days gone by, you really begin to see where things were. Needless to say, I'm much happier now than I was in most of those 5 years.
So, what's next?
Well, now I'm in paramedic school. I went through my EMT and Advanced EMT schooling. It was a rough time, but I made it and grew some good friendships from it. In that time, I worked on many shifts as an EMT and AEMT. It's been a very rewarding career. Needless to say, I'm pursing this as far as I can. I'd really love to be on a helicopter doing this job, one day. Until then, I'm just going to enjoy the journey. Honestly, that's become my saying for everything I've gotten into.
Since this breakup, I've lost right at 60 lbs. and have gotten back into producing music. Not to mention, I'm working on some neat things, such as Halo-related cosplays. I've been to two different MLP cons since this happened. All the while, I've enjoyed every step of the way. It's kinda like understanding and seeing yourself grow, step by step. You see where you came from, but at the same time, you see where you're going.
Well, though this was short, I'm happy that I could come back and give ya'll a quick update of life. I hope to come back sooner than another 3 to 4 years. Hopefully, anyways.
