Vehicular trials and tribulations
Well, you guessed it... the car is in the shop. Again.
Actually this is really a continuation of the same problem. After a bit of issues on the way to Faire a week ago, she fairly well behaved the rest of the week (thankfully economically speaking). Then on friday, while on the highway on the way to the visitation for imbri6's father, the car "service engine" and "reduced power" lights went on again. Oh "reduced power", how I've missed you... not. I took it easy on the way back home and the car made it fine back to South County.
On Saturday morning I went to Enterprise Rent-a-Car to pick up a rental so as to allow me to leave the Vue at the service department. At this point they still did not have a resolution identified so I'm still driving the rental. grrrrr.
I have stressed to them that I need to have a resolution to this issue ASAP. I have to drive to Chicago and back on Friday to pick up my son who will be spending a month with us. Then in just over three weeks we'll be driving to Columbus, OH to attend the Origins International Game Expo. This will be his first exposure to a major gaming convention... I'm hoping he'll enjoy himself.
