Wanna help someone preserve their loved ones last wishes?

Jakkal runs The Werehouse Avatars on SL. I know you all know of her. Her longterm partner passed away unexpectedly Monday morning. Being in his early 30's Bow did not have a formal will and Jakkal was not legally married to him despite over 10 years together. What state does she live in? Most states have a Common Law Marriage rule. 10 years would definitely meet that time rule.

Yeah, I just found all that out after I commented. That's dicked. Unfortunately, I can't help, since I'm trying to dig myself out of a financial hole due to college and the fact I'm not employed. I wish the best for her though, and hopes that his family isn't going to be a douchebag to her. :(

I really hope his family will do the right thing and let her keep what she has. The sad truth though is death tends to bring out the worst in some family members (not all), and they will fight and threaten for what they feel is rightfully theirs. I hope that doesn't happen to her and she can keep her home and belongings.
