I heard from the bosses yesterday that today was not going to be a busy day. I'm just glad they didn't call me off today. Despite this being one of the worst months in my work history pay wise, I still somehow managed to break even and not have to dip into my savings this month. That's funny.

Today was a fantastic day. This morning when I cleaned the rooms, I got tips equalling 30$! Woohoo, for free cash. And that cash went towards buying cards, and I bought lots of cards geared towards white (as white is BY FAR my favorite magic color) and towards a deck I'm gonna use in a tournament a little more than two weeks from now ( Read more... )

After work yesterday, I went to Westmount to pick up some things at the mall. I went to the bank to see how much money I had in my account and it turns out that this month I'm going to be up about 600$ from last month (not including the inheritance) which is awesome. The sickness has entered phase two, which means that for the most part it's retreating out of my sinuses and into my lungs somewhat. This is infinately better than what it was before and I am very happy to live with my cold when it's doing this. I just received the money now in the mail, which means we'll be able to not only get a bunch of stuff we need for the apartment, but we'll be able to get some treats! I'll be able to get one present for me, and another for me, and another for me and another for me! Oh this is going to be so much fun! :D
