Well lets see, I said you can hit your calves pretty hard and they recover fast, but I think Ive over done it a bit. I managed a run yesterday and actually started out feeling strong, but once i hit the red arrow hills my calves were screaming. It rained lightly and the cooling down of the rain helped get me through, but it was tough going. Today I really have to rest them. I walked the dogs and my calves are still pretty sore.
Yesterday i weighed in at 72.9 after the run. This morning I was at 73.1. I think I might have hit a plateau. I've drop some weight fast and now its likely it will take more serious work to get down into the low 70's.
