Well about 3 weeks ago, I heard back from JET...who I'd been waiting to hear back from for about 4 months on whether or not I would be going to Japan to teach english through them... anyway April 3rd they emailed me and basically said that I passed the interview stage...but I was not put on the short-list to go to Japan and that I could be put on the wait list if people drop out. So flash forward 3 weeks to today, the deadline for people on the shortlist who need to reply...

I got a call from the Japanese consulate...I'M IN!

I'll be in Japan in a little over 3 months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
