1. I finished my CV and sent it to a million places. Just doing that took a huge load off my chest. I expect browsing through ads and sending a million CVs will be occupying me a lot in the near future. (So far one place got back to me saying it was "open for dialogue", and I don't actually remember what position it was looking to fill /o\. Job search sites work in strange ways.)
2. For all you knitters out there, I really love this commercial:
(
Here is the (Hebrew) behind the scenes; what they did was knit around the objects and, unravel the yarn, and then play it in reverse. I wonder whether they put out an ad for professional knitters or just asked family members to pitch in.)
3. Dear Facebook people, please stop to be linking to Dannis Prager on my wall. That is all.
4. I googled "fan fiction" to see if it's appeared on the news recently, and found
Eli Roth and Quentin Tarantino have apparently been enjoying it,
Doctor Who and Action Comics writer Paul Cornell wants you to write it. I enjoy these facts.
5. Ted Mosby is half-Jewish! All I can say is it's about time.
6. And The Good Wife remains excellent.
7. And My Chemical Romance now have five songs up from the new album. I admit I'm not much of a lyrics person, and so far the only lyric I've been able to identify from "Save Yourself, I'll Hold Them Back" is motherfucker, lol.
8. A few photos from DC, just because:
Mmm DC. Where politics happen.
Outdoor jazz with
hihoplastic and
oddcellist DC Mall memorial tour...
And then I learned what gnats were!
Rosh Hashana at
bironic's
I'm not kidding when I say I have over 80 photos of flamingos.
synecdochic and

9. There's no law there actually have to be ten things.
