And hahaha, yeah, I've seen the first two eps already. It is indeed an adorable show, though the second episode hooked me less than the first. But, you know. I have heard the same good things as you have :-)

I liked this week's Merlin. I'm not sure I liked it more or less than last week's because while I'll concede 3.05 was a very interesting story, Merlin's actions in it just annoyed me to the point of distraction. I mean, I'm honestly starting believe he does suffer from some kind of affliction.
On the other hand, I really liked Elena in 3.06 and was kind of hoping against hope that the writers would just let Arthur marry her because it would've made for a far more interesting season, lol

I liked the episode too, mostly... basically all but the flatulence humor (AGAIN, SHOW, AGAIN). I really liked Elena, and I also hoped Arthur would marry her, even though I knew there was never really any chance.
And I agree about Merlin, omg that boy. He has run out of excuses to keep hiding from Morgana long, long, long ago.

Yeah the flatulence humour really needs to go away. It wasn't very funny the first five times and now it's just annoying.
I'm hoping ppl writer Arthur/Elena fic. As much as Arthur/Merlin is my OTP, I think it's too interesting to pass up
