Deep breath. I can format this! I can. And I figure 2 or 3 big posts are better than a million small ones. I don't even know why I figured that, but

Actually, yeah, we've got graveyards like that in California. Not many - you need to get into the really old Spanish-era settlements like the right parts of San Francisco for them, but they're there if you look around.

If you think white eggplant's weird, you should see some of the striped varieties.

Rare books, how you taunt me. Don't run! I know how to take care of you!

It was a really beautiful building. So many old books, and pretty Vermont marble windows letting soft glowy light it.

How did we not discuss the fact that you visited both my alma maters and hung around a lot of places in Boston I used to like to photograph and/or eat/shop/hang around in as well??

Except I never saw that statue with the little boys. Wow.

Anyway, I think it goes without saying that these are a gorgeous crop of photos.

I don't know! Clearly we did not spend enough time together :( We hardly talked about Boston at all... And man, you would have loved that statue, lol. Next time you're there :-)

Thank you! DC photos will be posted eventually, so be on the ~lookout.

oh gosh, how are you so good with taking photos \O/ !!!

Your summer=ducks. That is all.

wow, USA is impressive! BEAVERS (OMG!) white eggplants! berries! hugggge hamburgers! girls with tails! ducks! SQUIRRELS OMG etc.

concerning their huge ass bookstores - when I was in London I was at its biggest bookstore, fucking freaking out about them having an actual section dedicated to gay literature, while my Dad was flipin his shit about them having AN ENTIRE FLOOR dedicated to engineering.

My summer was totally ducks, yes. (In fact, it was even the nickname of one of the Palestinians I studied with, so really, it stretches as far as Ohio.)

The US has soooo many things in it. And BOOKS! I didn't actually buy too many, but I somehow ended up returning with like ten, most of them to be delivered to other people...
