Sometimes my life is odd.
Tonight I am going to a Yankee Swap with my older group of friends, but 'older' does not at all constitute maturity.
My best friend came randomly over to nab me for a Walmart trip, with a swap gift in mind. At the doors, we separated.
Our limit was $10, and this is the tally of what I grabbed:
-One (1) travel size bottle of baby oil
-One (1) pack of three (3) individual Kleenex packages
-One (1) small can of whipped cream
-One (1) oddly curved cucumber
-One (1) pack of two (2) baby pacifiers
-One (1) small canister of white knee-high pantyhose
And in the box of $1 DVDs, a movie called Incident on a Dark Street, starring ROBERT PINE and DAVID CANARY, with guest appearance by WILLIAM SHATNER. Yes, I bought if for the exact reason you think. :D
Anyway, when we met up at self-check out, this was her basket list:
-One (1) travel size bottle of Jergen's hand lotion
-One (1) package of Wet Ones (hand wipes)
-One (1) box of cherry Jell-O
-One (1) pizza cutter
-One (1) A Night to Dread DVD
-One (1) small canister of black knee-high pantyhose
This is why we are friends.
(The best part of this, most likely, was walking through the store with all of these items. That, and paying for the cucumber separately for exactly 50 cents.)
