-Looks lke Dr. Phil has run out of the "instant fame" elixir and cannot get any more from Oprah's "Vajay-jay" cause she is giving her fame nectar to Obama. So in a desperate and lame attempt to garner some publicity and try to boost the faltering ratings on his show, he used the Spears family and Brittanys deteriorating mental condition for his own purposes. I did a rant about the so-called "Dr" Phil a while back. He is nothing more than a failed psychologist who is using the whole talk show format to spew psycho-babble and pretend like he is helping people. People like him, who use people and their problems to further his own fame and bank account while just using "band-aid" Psychology, are some of the lowest of the low.
-Speaking of Brittany Spears... she definitly needs more than Dr. Phil to help get her life back in order. I hope her kids can be placed in a decent foster home or something. Cause giving K-fed or the parents of either of those nutjobs custody of those kids is an equally bad idea. Neither of them deserves to have any kids. And their poor kids deserve to have a chance at a normal life.
-Speaking of a normal life... I wish this dumb, pointless election would hurry up and get over with. "Oh gee, which corporate and special interest puppet shall I cast my meaningless vote on?". America isn't a Democracy... and really it never has been. It was founded as a Capitolistic Republic. And actually, I would almost contend that America has almost always been a Capitolistic Oligarchy (a government ruled by a small group or organization). But I suppose that is a rant for another time. I'm not voting in this or any other presidential election until political parties are abolished and the money and profit are taken out of the process. Until both of those things happen, voting is meaninless and is basically like the voting system on "Americas Funniest Home Videos". Sure you get to vote on who wins, but THEY decide who you get to vote for.
-I suppose that many people reading this are Ron Paul supporters and thinking "Well if Ron Paul ever got elected, he would change the system and make our country great again."
Well, its a nice sentiment, and Paul does talk a good game. And I would love to believe the fact that someone could actually change this country.
But reality sets in... lets just say that by some miracle that he wins the Republican presidental primary. And lets just say by another miracle that he actually wins the Presidential race, one of two things would happen if he were elected.
A: All his "lets change the government" retoric was just bullshit and he sells out immediatly to the status qoe.
B: He is actually sincere and ernest in his desire to change our government for the better. So he tries, but is rendered completely impotent by the congress and the Washington political machine that doesn't want the way they do things changed. So his presidency will be so ineffective that nothing will get done and he will be a one term presidential failure.
-The only time I can ever see myself voting is if Huckabee gets the Republican nomination. Then I would vote for WHOEVER is on the Democrats side. Huckabee is a scary prospect, and it scares me a bit that he has done fairly well so far. I definitly do not want an evangelical preacher who has even said he was going to "Put Christ into our government" running things. If he gets in, religious freedom in this country will be in serious jeapordy.
