NCIS is back!
Well, USA had a marathon today...so I ended up watching NCIS.
Last episode I'd seen, Gibbs had shot Ari (so Ari'd be believed), and this was the original airing, not syndication.
I gave up on the show at that point, fearing rumors I'd heard that Kate was going to die, and that Ari would be demonized. The character might've been Israeli, but he was percieved by everyone as a Palestinian terrorist. That and the running jokes at DiNozzo's expense were becming mind-numbingly repetitive.
But now I've seen some of the Ziva episodes.
And I admit I'm intrigued. DiNozzo's character is much improved from what he once was. Abby's not flaunting Gothness at everyone. Gibbs seems to have toned down his recitations from his Book of Rules.
Ducky's still great.
And, best of all, Ziva David. (did my closed captioning spell her surname accurately?)
It never rains but it pours...I finally find one show that I like, without shipping anyone on it - Keen Eddy -- and I soon thereafter find NCIS with Ziva in it.
