4400 - apart from reading your fic, I haven't a clue about this one, I'm afraid!

Primeval - Agreed re the boys, which is why the whole series is so wonderfully slashable, but what's the evidence for a happily married Lester ? :)

Rome - I very nearly went on a dormouse hunt many years ago in Slovenia. I was worried that I might have to watch something cute and furry be killed, which I wouldn't have liked, but I was told they almost never found/caught any, and it was just an excuse to have a barbeque in the woods and drink beer! As it happened it rained!!

If I dig out my Roman Law notes from university I could probably answer the inheritance question, but I can't remember the relevant degrees of family closeness off hand.

I'm confused....Primeval is slashable because none of the characters are capable of having a relationship with anyone else?
(as to Lester - absence of evidence to the contrary)

a dormouse hunt, cool!

http://www.4400abductees.com can help, happily.

no rush as to the Roman laws...I was just curious.

You don't really think they're going to be historically accurate, do you? This is Rome after all...

As to historical accuracy - I can hope.

No, Primeval is slashable because most of the men are really pretty!

Re Lester, you could well be right. The standard archaeological maxim is, of course, "Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence". Although naturally I don't rule out Lester slash, but then I wouldn't, would I ?
