was thinking about Numb3rs episodes, not just "Trouble in Chinatown," but that episode was included too...
...and I realized something: at the same time that Don is making his (multi-episode) return to Temple and its teachings/traditions, we see another character whose downfall is brought about by his trying too hard to keep to the older traditions of his people.
not sure if symmetry is the right word, but I thought the opposing directions was interesting.
of course, if Don ever gets that extreme, we can count on his Signifigant Other to kill him...or at least slip some cheese into Don's steakburger.
