What if, instead of locking up Kate and Sawyer & putting Jack in the cell to talk to Juliet...what if they had locked up Kate and Jack & put Sawyer in the cell to talk to Juliet?
yes, I know that Jack was picked because of his surgical skills & Ben's little problem...but assume we have narrative causality on our side - surely something could have been found for Sawyer to be picked (and we lose that Ben-in-surgery subplot, though)
would the end result have been the same, or would it be Juliet and Jack "playing house" / "playing happy families" back in the '70s? or would butterflies overwhelm the island, leaving us with Hurley and Libby & Sun and Jin being the only ones in the '70s?
