If you were to measure the Life of the Planet in larger increments of time, you could argue that Music popularized with each week can symbolize a mood of the Planet or what was happening at that time.

I said that when the Planet communicates it uses larger concepts:

1. I said the Planet could qualify as "God" as a Consciousness comprised of all 7 billion Subconscious Minds around the Planet
   
2. Word = 3-minute Song
   
3. Sentence = Half-hour sitcom
   
4. Paragraph = 2-hour Movie
   
5. Essay = Mini-Series
   
6. Term Paper = Television Drama running for three years
   

You have to think in larger concepts if you want to understand "God" on a Cosmic Level. If God is Larger than Life, then obviously the way God looks at Time would be on a larger scale.

I know that this post was directed to all the math gods of the realm in hopes that you would have the facts that you needed to win the argument with your friend. I thought I would chime in with the anatomy/physiology facts to back up the math. As many people know the human eye has two different types of photoreceptors. The rhodopsin receptors that are responsible for B and W vision and dim lighting and the Iodopsin receptors (cones) that detect colors and are responsible for visual acuity. If your friend claims to have seen colors from that distance it maybe due to how the photoreceptors are activated. In most other neurons of the body are activated by depolarization however the rods and cones of the eye are activated by hyper-polarization. The significance of this to you and your friend is that if she is looking at the same pixels up close and then backs away the light has made a temporary imprint on that particular cone and cannot be removed until it repolarizes electrically. (A brief experiment look at a lightbulb and then look away and close your eyes. You still see the lightbulb on the back of your eyelids. You will continue to see it until the eye repolarizes) For cones this is especially significant because they only conduct to one axon verses the rod conducting to multiple ones. This means that if she was looking at the same pixels close up and then backed up a meter she would still "think" she sees those pixels at exactly those distances because that individual axon has not "reset" itself. Thought you might be the type that likes multiple arguements to prove someone wrong.
