one of the best moments of my entire, amazing life.
i kidnapped my best friend in the entire universe tonight/this morning at approximately 11:43. her birthday is today-thanksgiving! this being her sixteenth birthday, it was a given that i had to do something extra extrordinary. so i, living in the moment, decided to kidnap her. i called my sister, erin, and told her that i simply had to do something to remember this by that was extra different..she knew that she wasn't gonna be able to sleep as early as she planned as soon as i said that. then, i called kelsey's mom to make sure it was all okay and of course it was. her mom was going to leave the door unlocked so that i could just slip in. so at 11:37, erin came to my house and i stalled for a few minutes, for i had only gotten of the phone with kelsey at about 11:15 and i needed to give it some time so that she could have a chance to fall asleep. i figured out what i was going to say in the car ride over there. i quietly opened the door and made my way upstairs to kelsey's room. she was asleep, thank god! her kitty was laying on top of her asleep also. so i come up and taffy see's me first and i shake kelsey a little bit and her cat goes hay wire and then jumps off the bed and kelsey looks up at me COMPLETELY confused. i say "get on some shoes and a sweatshirt-it's gonna be cold, and come with me..don't ask any questions." i had to say that a few times while she processed it and so she got out of bed slowly and was like "what???" but i just kept saying the same thing- in the middle of my bursts of laughter that i couldn't control at the look of her face. she gets her uggs on and her little hoodie and i grab her hand and lead her downstairs and outside and say "get in", PJs and all. so she does and my sister was like "happy almost birthday, kelsey" and then i said the same and we started off. kelsey had no idea where we were going or anything but she woke up a little bit more and realized that i was kidnapping her but she was asking if her mom knew that i had took her and i was like "i don't know..i guess you'll have to just wait and see" [but later on i told her she knew so that she didn't worry].
i asked her what she thought when i woke her up and she thought she was dreaming..up until she finally started to put her uggs on and realized that i was actually in the room and that it wasn't a dream and that she was being stolen. we went over to dennys, for where else would you go at almost 12 at night? we get there and wait [baddd service] for forever and my phone goes off saying it's kelsey's birthday.
she didn't expect ANY of this..she was soooooo confused throughout the whole drive until we got to denny's, and even then she was still a bit confused, and i told her to order anything she wanted-i was paying for everything and it didn't matter what it costed. so we ordered breakfast and fries and these really good mango tangy strawberry lemonades and cokes and such[erin's friend had met us there also because she was up and about and erin wanted her to come] and then we ate foooood and drank our yummy drinks that never look as fancy in real life as they do in the pictures, but still tasted good.
we finally drove her home. she was soooooooooooooooooooooo happy and ecstatic and beaming and i was the sammme because i had passed and succeeded in doing something memorable for her sixteenth birthday that was completely and totally unexpected. PLUS, she had NEVER been kidnapped before so it was something all new and exciting and memorable. i walked her up to the door and into the house and we said our goodbyes and i was completely satisfied and couldn't be happier and content an and thrilled with the way everything had turned out...PERFECT.
so..in conclusion, happy birthday, kelsey. i love you to death and you will always be my bestest friend in the whole entire universe. i'll always be there no matter what happens. and i hope you have an amazing rest of your birthday cause it has only just begun :] <3
