I really enjoy writing this and I hope you guys enjoy reading this a bit, too!

Chapter 2

Moths flew by, time that we wanted to slow down so much, the two were growing way to fast. Ariana reminded me each day more and more of Pepa except the red hair. Pepa always says, that she feels the other way round, that she reminds her of my, but that thinks she about everybody, that has red hair.

Jess smile is exactly the same like Pepa’s, which makes everybody to his friend.

Like almost everyday Sara is with Lucas at our house today, which is okay with me, because Pepa continued working after two months.

“Hola you two”, she greets them “nah, how are you?”

“They are fine”, I smile at her “how are Lucas and Jason?”

She looks again at me: “They are okay, Jason is on a business trip in France and you are okay, too, aren’t you?”, she kisses the head of her son.

We sit there and chat for two hours, till Pepa comes home with our oldest: “Hola family”

She rubs the cheeks of each twin with her palm and kisses their foreheads, when Ariana takes a strand of her hair and pulls, for her age, she has a really strong grip: “Come on, don’t hurt your mommy”, Pepa rubs the little nose of our daughter and than she stops pulling.

“How was your day?”, I ask her, while she wraps her arm around my shoulder and I put my head against her head.

She kisses my cheek: “It was okay, like everyday actually, the day of our daughter was better”

“Why what happened, Maite?”, I ask her.

She looks up, from her brother, while she was rubbing his tummy, which got her a little grin with two little teeth: “I got it into the theatre group of the school”

“That’s great”, she learned for the auditions for over a week, even if it wasn’t necessary, because she has only a little role in it, but she really wants to be a part of it “I think there is someone, who gets an ice-cream”

As I come back with two bowls of ice-cream, Pepa smiles: “Oh you are so awesome, princesa, thanks”

“You think that’s for you?”, I wink.

She pouts: “Come on I had a long day”, Sara looks amused between us, while I hand Maite her ice-cream.

“Thanks Silvia”

After this Pepa tries to catch the bowl from behind me, we both know it’s ridiculous, but my wife is like a little kid: “Pepa!”, while she grabs it out of my hand, I kick against the table, dios that hurts: “Fuck”, I jump on one foot.

A little noise from the kids makes Sara and Pepa laugh loudly.

Pepa stands up, while I’m still jumping on one foot and takes our son from the bottom.

“Come on say it again, Jess”, she rocks him softly.

He waves with the little stuffed elephant in his hand: “Fuck”, he grins and flashes a “Pepa smile” at us.

My wife kisses him smiling on the head: “That’s my son and it’s not even my fault”, she turns her attention back to me “I love you so much princesa”

“Only my aunt can be happy about that the first word of her son is “fuck””, Sara rolls her eyes.

Pepa comes back to us with our son in her arms: “Come on, he is the man in the house and think about it, how funnier it is to hear, that your first word was not something boring like “mummy” or “daddy”, but “fuck””

“Dios, who did I marry”, I shake my head smiling.

Pepa kisses my cheek: “You can say, what you want, you love me”

“Mhh, I have to”, I kiss her back.

Somehow we forgot everyone that is in the room, until Pepa remembers, that she still has a kid in her arms: “We will scare him for life, Silvia”

“Not just him, aunties”

“You are a different story, sobrina”, Pepa smiles.

She rolls her eyes: “That’s what I thought”

“Come on, don’t be such a baby”, she stands up, after she put Jess in my arms “will you stay for dinner?”

Sara looks at me: “Is she going to cook? Do you want to get us foot poison?”

“You can say what you want, she really cooks better, now”, I shrug.

She shakes her head: “I don’t know”

“But she really cooks well”, Maite looks up from her siblings.

At last my daughter sticks with me.

“Thanks, Maite and Sara you do remember, that I’m still in the room?”, I ask her rolling my eyes.

She laughs: “Of course”

“That’s what I thought, so does that mean, that you will eat with us or not?”, I start cutting some vegetables.

She rolls her eyes: “Come on, I’ll help you, I don’t want us all to die”, she sighs.

“Okay this is better as I thought”, my niece grins after she took one tiny bite.

I shake my head: “I think, that wasn’t hard”

Silvia squeezes my hand: “Come on, the last thing she ate, that you cooked, was your paella and it was really bad”

I mumble to my vegetables: “I couldn’t know, that the chrism was tainted, you see it wasn’t my fault”

“Of course it wasn’t”, Silvia kisses my head.

I roll my eyes: “Thanks redhead”

“Apropos redheads, I think our youngest kids want to eat something, too, what do you think?”, she smiles at me.

I shake my head: “I cooked, it’s your pleasure to feed them, princesa!”, I kiss her smiling on the cheek.

“This kids have your genes, which means, that they will throw again with food at me!”, she quirks shaking her head.

I smile: “Yeah, that’s why I love them so much”

“And because they don’t do it to you”, she growls.

I nod and thrust two jars into my wife’s hand: “It’s your turn, sweetie”

“Why do you know everyday, what they want?”, she stands up and gets Jess first, because his sister is sleeping deeply.

After Silvia put a spoon full of mashed potato into his moth.

My princesa smiles with relief, because our son let the spoon for a couple of seconds in her moth, that was a mistake, ‘cause he spits the potato in Silvia’s hair.

“Yeah very funny, guys”, is Silvia’s growled reaction of our laughter “I said they are as picky as you are”

“I can’t look at this”, Sara shakes her head and takes the jar with the carrots “come here, little cousin”, she pulls our son out of Silvia’s arms, but presses his lips together, so Sara has no chance to feed him.

“Come on it doesn’t taste that bad”, she smiles at him, at takes a small bite “mhh, that really doesn’t taste that bad”, and she takes the whole spoon into her mouth.

Jess opens his mouth and tries to get with his little hands the spoon of mashed carrots.

But my niece shakes her head: “No that’s my now”, and Jess starts to cry.
“Sara!”, Silvia shakes her head with a loud voice.
