I was super ambitious yesterday and decided to try my hand at some shadowboxing. Birthday party craft numero dos! Tonight I made a barn backdrop to go on the food table. I used a red tri-fold posted board, black paint, white paper, and some cardstock letters that I had laying around. I think this came out nice, pretty simple in design, but it matches the little barn that I made on the table centerpieces too.

It took me 10weeks, but I finally got Colton and Daphne's handprints and footprints done. I tried to do it at 2weeks and nearly dropped Daphne...it was just way too difficult. Both kids were really grumpy yesterday and I figured it was now or never. Better to do something that'll piss them off when they are already mad :P I think I did a good job. ( Read more... )
