Christmas was wonderful.Colton and Daphne were definitely spoiled by my parents and by my brother and sister. My parents were able to come in from North Carolina and my brother and his wife came in from Delaware. Jay and I spent Christmas morning with the kids, then my parents came at lunch time, and my brother at dinner time. I refused to cook dinner for so many people so we ate at Pinz. It was actually really nice. The place was dead and we had the bar all to ourselves. My niece Jayden was so cute and loved meeting Colton and Daphne. Jay had to bounce at 7pm so he just went to dinner in his work clothes and we took separate cars....he got to show the kids off to a lot of his co-workers at the bar.

The day after Christmas we got hit with a blizzard (which is still coming down) and my family all bailed out early. We told them they should just stay and stick out the storm here, but they didn't listen. Instead they tried to drive home and ended up getting stuck in New Jersey over night. Jay and I took down the tree yesterday afternoon while the kids napped and the living room feels so huge now...I love the open space. Home Depot called and cancelled work last night, it was nice to have Jay in bed. I did make him get up at 3am though to shovel our driveway and then go down the street to shovel is grandparents' driveway. His grandfather had dialysis at 5am, but we've never been able to help them before since Jay's normally at work at that hour.

Things were quiet for Jay and I gift wise, but Colton and Daphne got tons. One of the big hits was their new barn door and busy balls. Lots of stuff they haven't even seen yet...they'll have lots of fun exploring their new toys. I need to go out to Target and get another section of cubes to add to our organizer now. Hoping to head out tomorrow once the snow stops. We're up to 2ft in less than 24 hours.

We took about 60 pictures all together of Christmas and the day after. I know my brother and dad's cameras were taking pictures like crazy too, so I can't wait to see what they captured. Here are just

We bought one present each for Colton and Daphne

Checking out their new Discovery Dragon

Family picture at the Blue Dog restaurant in Pinz. This is the bar Jay works at on the weekend, he's already in his bouncer clothes.

Christmas day they wore cute Santa outfits. The day after Christmas I happened to pull together two matching outfits out of the closet too.

Our new Barn Door! The kids love it! So far they can't get enough of the little vegetables...we've decided they are a tomato, carrot, and rhubarb.
