Reccer's notes: The theme for this month is "transformed characters," my favorite-est trope in my heart of hearts. Not sensible transformations like werewolves or vampires or kittens, mind you. But the ridiculous (and possibly pathetic?) ones. The more ludicrous the better! And trust me, you haven't seen Dean Winchester until you've seen Dean Winchester the Dust Bunny. New to me and old to fandom, this fic is part meta-commentary, and part unabashed crackish fun; these transformations simultaneously settle and unsettle, defamiliarize, what you know and think about SPN. And also it's adorable.
[(very!) short excerpt]At least being a giant dust bunny cut down on Dean's ability to angst about Hell; Sam had spent a while considering the dust bunny to make sure it wasn't angsting about Hell. The dust bunny appeared as emotionally stable as it was possible for a dust bunny to appear.
