Open reccing in December!

December is another month of open reccing at rocksalt_recs. This means that from Dec 1 until Dec 31, anyone can rec spontaneously without signing up for our usual categories. Lovely! Right now it's still telling me that I don't have access, rather than the put-in-moderation-queue message. Probably because I'm just impatient and you haven't opened it up yet!

I'm still getting "Client Error: you don't have access to requested journal" this morning, even though rocksalt's profile says moderated posting is open to all members. I don't know whether this is some LJ glitch affecting me or some LJ glitch affecting rocksalt. Are any posts making it into the mod queue?

I am getting the same message ("Client Error: you don't have access to requested journal". LJ access overall has been problematic this weekend.

I don't know if this will work for you, but I just left the comm and then joined again, and after that it accepted my post.

Or maybe the mods did something, in which case, thank you, mods!

Hmm, having trouble posting. I had to do the join, unjoin community trick that got me posted once, but I can't seem to do more than one entry a day.
I thought we were able to do two?…help

Hi, hm, this must be some Livejournal thing that is beyond my ken - maybe you're not allowed to post a new entry while something's still in the moderation queue? I'm trying to get those rolling through as quickly as I can, but there are likely to be delays since I'm in a bit of a weird time zone, sorry about the hassle!

No worries. I'm just on a bit of a recc'ing binge LOL. I haven't had much time to write myself so with open recc'ing I can at least spread the joy of what I have read around : )
It all seems to be working today. Today I had tags, the extra spaces are still there even using the html form, but that's easy to get rid of once you know they should be gone. It's all good. :)
