Open reccing in December!
December is another month of open reccing at rocksalt_recs. This means that from Dec 1 until Dec 31, anyone can rec spontaneously without signing up for our usual categories. Whether they’re new works or long time favourites, fandom classics or hidden gems - if you like them, why not share the love? Any genre, ship, and fanwork type is welcome! Our only restriction is that it hasn’t been recced before, which you can check here.
Here’s a quick rundown on what you need to know:
- You can post up to two individual recs per day.
- To rec you need to join the community.
- Use our posting formats and tag as indicated in the guidelines.
- Since we open posting access to the comm, submissions will be moderated, but we'll try in our various timezones to keep approvals moving smoothly.
A reminder: December will also see a return of the "Rarest" category, for those things that are rare or weird enough to not show up during our regular months. We still have two spots open. If you're interested in signing up for them, you can do that here.
