[Summaries for individual fics]Cambion: When Jesse Turner's parents die in a house fire in 2019, Jesse comes back to the states to avenge them, hardened and mistrustful from years of being hunted. There he meets Ben Braeden and Claire Novak, both following the demon behind the attack in hopes it will lead them to the missing Sam and Dean. But Ben and Claire don't exactly trust half-demons, and Jesse sure as hell doesn't trust hunters. The reluctant partnership they enter into takes them to the fire-consumed ghost town of Centralia, PA, and then even deeper into the colorless flat abyss of Purgatory. There, Jesse must confront his powers once and for all, even if it means losing his humanity.
The Capacity to Love: Four years after Castiel betrayed them to open Purgatory, the Winchester brothers have cut their ties to Heaven and hunkered down in Sioux Falls to protect Sam from the aftermath of his fallen wall. But when the new ruler of Hell threatens to conquer both Heaven and Earth, Castiel can't stay away any longer. Sam, Dean, and Castiel must learn to trust each other again, because when Sam's wall finally goes down for good, Dean and Castiel have only two options: overcome their differences, or lose Sam forever.
Synchronicity: They've been hunting together for six hours, and Ben already wants to kill her.
To Build a Home: It starts soon after Sam and Dean leave Black Ridge, Colorado for bigger and better things. For them, the hunt is over-for Haley and her brothers, life has just been turned upside down.
Only Human: Ben’s not the same person he was when Sam and Dean disappeared into Purgatory three years ago, but with the help of an angel’s ex-vessel and a particularly stubborn cambion, Ben has achieved the impossible and released them from their self-inflicted prison. Between teaching Jesse to control his new demonic powers and trying, as ever, to earn Claire’s trust, Ben’s ready to call the job well done and finally live a life that doesn’t revolve around Dean. But now the word's out that the Winchesters are back in business, an old enemy with a bone to pick aims to put them down permanently. Ben, Claire, and Jesse join the Winchesters in striking back-and that means rising tension between Ben’s new half-demon friend and the only man he could ever call father. It's hard to feel anything but ordinary next to Claire's little piece of Castiel and Jesse's half-demon heritage, but how Ben balances his new life and the one he left behind will make all the difference in who makes it out of the fight the way they went in.
Reccer's notes: thegeminisage and callowyn have done an amazing job of fleshing out a number of minor characters and coming up with new and exciting plots; their SPN Next Gen 'verse meshes perfectly with pre-established canon while remaining a rich universe of its own. Every fic is wonderfully written and captures the complex personalities of all the characters, as well as the multifaceted, emotional relationships between them. There's something for everyone-long fic, short fic, major characters, minor characters; no doubt you'll find something in Cambionverse that will delight you. :)
