Yes, I think it's pretty much certain that I'm not going anywhere until Monday. And we fared better here than other places. Some places in Connecticut got over 3 FEET of snow! But the snow is still coming down here, so our total is not complete yet.

Whoa. That's insane. Yay for a weekend at home. Hope your kids don't drive you insane.

Also, I've realized that everyone seems to be booking tickets for June 29 and I couldn't go then anyway because I'll be coming home from Yellowstone that day. *sigh* Me and my first world woes. I am so very very spoiled.

Sorry, hon. Blame the Globe! We're booking that day because they are also having the Q & A afterward on that day. I know Yellowstone park is not Colin, but that's pretty insane crazy in and of itself. Old Faithful? Cool as hell!

Heh. I know. I'm really not *that* upset I will miss him. I mean, I wasn't expecting to see him, so it would have been icing on the cake.

Yeah, this trip to Yellowstone should be AMAZING.

That's definitely a bucket list place I'd like to go... To see places that we've only seen on TV or in photos? Meep!

Oh wait. You've never been to Yellowstone? I was there when I was a little kid, I think, but I don't remember it at all. I've been a lot of places in the US, especially if they are a National Park:D Plus we moved around a lot when I was a kid.

I've also been to England, France, Italy, Hungary, Czechoslovakia and passed through Switzerland and Germany:D I like to travel, just haven't done it much since meeting dh. I'm just now getting back to it.

I am considering the idea of adding Paris as a pit stop on this trip. Like taking the Eurostar and visiting the major sights, staying one night and coming back...Not sure. I mean, I might as well go all out for this damn thing, right?

GO ALL OUT! One night in Paris is not extravagant. Go for two. What the hell!

You and me both. I can hardly afford to drive down the road any more, so living vicariously. Soooo jealous of the ones that can go (and extremely happy for them too).

This is more of a matter of "You only live once...". And no, I'm NOT going to use the acronym. But in the whole time my husband and I were married, we never got a chance to go on a nice trip together. We kept saying we'd get around to it, perhaps when the kids were grown. And we ran out of time.

So now, while I do have a little bit of expendable money, I am going to take advantage of it and do something I've always wanted to do and go somewhere I've always wanted to go. I don't want to wait and never get the chance! :D

I know that feeling very well *glares at the car registration bill*

If only it's as simple as a short trip across the pond, but no - the plane fare alone is worth a small fortune!

oh well, we'll all hold hands (and the stick) while living vicariously

I never thought I would be the one who someone else would live vicariously through! So many times I watched those Pierrefonds videos and pics, the stories about the 24 Hour Musicals, the NTAs... I never thought I would be the one to get to go to something!

It IS a lot of snow and cold. I didn't even bother digging out my driveway today. Good thing it's the weekend!

Yay you!!
You are all fully expected to do the utmost investigations and researching while there, perhaps while wearing an FOTS t-shirt!
*wonders if you can get secret videos to stream directly to her PC!*
