Debate really is my favorite class this semester. I may take some more classes in it, since I never did enter debate club in high school. I gots arguments I need to get out! Only I'm really bad at on-the-spot arguing, which is what we did today; we basically role-played as members of a couple or a parent and child, and once I was the 'wife' and once I was the 'mother' and both times I kind of went '...' and caved, but walking out of class, I thought of great responses. Isn't that always the way.
Veer! Mom is fine with you driving up here to hang. :D If you're able to come, we'd love to have you. If you get in, like, Wednesday evening/night, I'll be out of class, and you could leave early on Sunday or something. I even thought of crap we could do: I could drag you over to the campus on Thursday and, uh, show you ... the campus YES and maybe we could pick up Dessy from class and go do shit! Yes, shit!! I haven't seen you in ages, Dessy. :X
And Friday, we could go walkin', we could go shoppin', we could keep talkin'. I have a therapist appointment at 11 AM, but nothing else to do that day.
I DO have to type up a debate thingz0r sometime this week, but Nate & I are working in the library tomorrow evening and we get all of class on Wednesday to work, so I should be able to just transcribe from my notes to WordPad, and I could easily do that on Sunday afternoon.
So yes, come, Veer! :D We will have good times. AND ON SATURDAY, we can all pile in the car and meet Ice-T!! And... then go downtown or sommat, since it's right there, and hang out more with Miss Dessy. Oooh, don't you love how I just plan things without other people's knowledge/permission. ;D Nothing's set in stone, except for the debate, the appointment, and Ice-T.
Today is my parents' 30th wedding anniversary. I baked them a hella sw33t apple cobbler last night, all decorated with slices of apple and pecan, and it looks mighty tasty. Yes, mighty. Smeg and I drew cats all over a cat-shaped card, because we're not feline fanatics at all. We went out to dinner last night, sans a tired Smeg, and that was also tasty, although I think they're going Out To Eat officially later this week, on some night Mom doesn't work.
At least the living room got a precursory cleaning last night while the cobbler baked, and I'm working on my room. I got Dad's help in moving the bookshelf up and at 5 AM I was tossing books all over my room, trying to figure out a way to categorize them that made sense. Some bitchez (read: books) are too tall to fit in the shelves and it irritates me, because it messes up my 1337 organization. I'll finish that tonight, and vacuum, and take my midterm, and make my bed up, and get the laundry out, and ... I think that's everything. Busy week!
My guts hurt. X\ Did I mention my period made its return last Tuesday? I need to mention it in case I have to find it later. I'm sure it's something you all really cared about. I still plan on making a gynecology appointment soon, anyway. I REALLY DO. I'm just slow.
Time to go to religion. Zzz.
