Hmmm.....
Turns out that the best way to make me blog again is to give me something else that i should be doing instead, and watch me procrastinate.
So.
Yeah.
404 days since my last post. Although my last one was one of those stupid quiz thingos, which doesn't really count. Which makes my last REAL post the 9th of November 2006. Woah.
Interestingly, in that Nov 2006 post, i claimed that i probably wouldn't post in here for like a year. Boy was i wrong! What a loser! Take that, self from 18 months ago!
So anyway, here's a brief rundown of shit:
Left Roxby
Moved to Perth to be close to pretty girl mentioned in previous post
Moved in with a guy i didn't really know
Got a job shifting boxes (on the plus side, this was the first job i'd ever gotten from a job ad in the paper, rather than through people i know. Go me!)
moved in with said pretty girl.
Quit full time work
Got offered part time work at my existing employer, rather than having to find another job
Enrolled in uni
Became awesome mature-age uni student, making bad experimental films and dispensing sage advice to my (much) younger student counterparts
So basically, everything rox0rs. I'm with the most awesome girl ever to walk the planet, i have a job that i'm good at that i actually enjoy quite a bit, and i'm doing HEAPS fun shit at uni. Good times.
Oh, also... (I wouldn't be me if i didn't put some sort of music reference in here somewhere)
"Colors" by 'Between the Buried and Me' is by far the BEST metal album to be released in the past couple of years, and is most likely somewhere on my top 5 list of all time. So fucking good it hurts.
So yeah. I'm surprised i didn't think of using the LJ as a form of time-wasting before now. No doubt i'll be using it again many times between now and when my course is done in 3 years time. You've been warned.
