THINGS I HAVE LEARNED SINCE I LAST POSTED IN THIS THING:
* Running away from your problems doesn't always make them go away, even if you move to the middle of the fucking desert
* Just because something seems to be working for everyone else, doesn't mean it's going to work for you
* Roxby Downs is the shittiest, most depressing place i've ever lived.
* Being paid a small fortune for work that's piss-easy doesn't mean shit if you don't like the work
* If you're getting paid a small fortune for work that's piss-easy, there's usually a very good reason
* Injuring yourself at work doesn't look good on your record
* Injuring yourself at work twice in four months looks even worse
* Ankle injuries are quite possibly the most annoying thing in the universe
* You never realise how much you rely on your feet until you can't use them
* If someone can invent a pair of crutches with a cup-holder built in, i will be your friend forever
* Sitting on your arse at home while being paid for it isn't nearly as exciting as it sounds
* Having surgery is nowhere near as scary as it sounds
* If it wasn't for the internet, there's a good chance i'd be in some form of mental facility by now
* I am a much bigger nerd than i first thought
* Much MUCH bigger
* I'm totally okay with that
* The number of awesome albums that have been released this year is staggering. Deftones, Converge, Blood Brothers, Lupe Fiasco, Macromantics, TV on the Radio, and Frenzal Rhomb have all released albums that i would consider to be album of the year.
* Meeting people on the internet may sound like the lamest, geekiest thing in the universe, but don't knock it till you've tried it! Who knows, you may even meet the coolest girl you've ever met in your life.
* Unfortunately, she may also live in Perth.
* Having someone who lives 3000km away may totally suck dogs balls, but as long as she makes you happy, that's all that matters, right?
* I have a feeling I may get to know the staff at the Adelaide and Perth airports VERY well over the next 12 months or so
* Even though i'm living in a shitty town, with a job i don't like, and i can't walk properly, i'm still the happiest i've been in a long time.
Hmm.. Wow. Whoever said you don't learn something new every day is a fuckhead.
There's a pretty good chance i won't post in here again for another 12 months. Oh well, never mind.
