It's almost been two weeks -- I really want to see the Dark Knight again!!!!
I'm disappointed that it's failed to happen.
I watched Batman Begins the night before I saw the Dark Knight (see images below!).
I watched it again on Monday, and came to this conclusion: I actually think I liked Katie Holmes as Rachel, more.
I love Maggie G and didn't mind her in the DK, at all (her clothing and hair were amazing!!) It's just -- Katie is more believable. To me, at least. It might be that she was Rachel first, but I think it's more than that. Maggie was too soft. I didn't really feel like she was living in a crazy world of organized crime. In BB, "Rachel" was intense and you could tell she was angry, and wouldn't let Crane or Falcone get away with anything. Maggie's Rachel seemed too happy. Maybe she was supposed to be a ray of sunlight in a dark movie, but that wasn't how the character of Rachel was shown to us. Like I said, I didn't mind the new Rachel, but it just didn't feel the same. Maybe they really wanted Aaron Eckhart, but he didn't want to work with Katie Holmes again? ha. It doesn't really matter, because the movie is still amazing. Especially the part where I get to look at Christian Bale for almost 3 hours. ;-)

Speaking of Batman -- Leah, Liz and Caitlin came over to watch Batman Begins, the night before I saw the Dark Knight. I made cupcakes in celebration!
Matt got in town Tuesday morning. They aren't playing many shows in August, so that's fun!
Tuesday night we went to Fazoli's for dinner, then back to my apartment to watch like 4 episodes of Lost.
Last night, dinner from Taco Bell and more episodes of Lost.
So healthy. ;-)
My sister flew in this morning. We're going out to eat with her and whoever else, tonight.
Cardinals game with my parents, tomorrow night.
Then Jesi and I are going to MV for the weekend.
ps, I can't believe it's August!!!!!!!!!!
