Happy birthday to me!
Technically it's no longer my birthday, but since I haven't been to bed yet... let's say it is. I turned 27 today. It's kind of weird, but I tend to just focus on the fun aspects of getting older. ;-)
I had a good day. Work was work. I had a delicous lunch at Bread co. Chicken noodle soup and 1/2 a grilled chicken caesar salad. My parents came over for dinner. More delicious food from the Olive Garden. Ravioli de portobello. We came home and my mom and I made 2 pumpkin pies and an apple pie. The pumpkin was awesome, but we haven't tried the apple yet. I'll let you know. ;-)
Matt is currently in Texas. He missed my birthday last year too! However, I got to hang out with him last night, and he'll be back here tomorrow around 5:30, so yay!
I got an amazing package from Alyssa earlier this week! It included lots of fun stuff and birthday presents!!! Too much goodness. :D And my parents gave me cash. Score!!
Hmm, other stuff... I saw "Dan in Real Life," last Friday. It was really good! I missed the beginning due to long lines at the concession stand and annoying, old, rich people. haha.
Saturday, I got a haircut, then drove to MV. My mom went with me to Carbondale. We stopped by Tuff Luck then did a little shopping. Had dinner at Cracker Barrel. Matt got home on Sunday, from a weekend of shows in Minnesota.
Halloween was fun. We had a party at work, and I won 3rd place (and $10) for my costume. I was Lydia from Beetlejuice. :D Didn't do too much else... Leah and I walked down for dinner at Qdoba. Saw some cute kids in fun costumes!
