Update time
It's been over 2 weeks... oops.
A couple weekends ago, I saw "Across the Universe." I had really wanted to see it. At first I thought it was going to be cheesy, but I really liked it! The 2 main dudes are hot, and I love their voices. The music was awesome (duh) and I bought the soundtrack. :-) That was Friday night... I had lunch with Joani on Saturday. Ran errands, cleaned and caught up on TV the rest of the day. Sunday, we had a church picnic. It was a really pretty day. Fun. However, there were a lot of bees. Not fun.

That night, I was supposed to go see this:
I was soooooo, so, so, so, soooo excited about it. I bought my tickets a month or so beforehand. Seriously, so excited. Due to a tip from Alyssa, I found out it was cancelled! It's been touring the country for a year, and the week before it's in St. Louis, Fox or whoever, pulls the plug. I was sooooo mad. :-( I ended up doing laundry at Leah's, and we made dinner.
Last weekend was a lovely one. I had Friday off, and drove to Kentucky, Thursday. RKR played at Matt's church. He was super stressed about it, but it turned out well. I think there would have been more kids if there hadn't been bad weather (tornado warnings, etc). Apparently, I just missed a ton of it on my drive. Phew! Matt's show on Friday night, was cancelled.... YAY! So, we got to hang out all day!! We ended up staying up late watching TV and playing silly super nintendo games. We had lunch at the Feedmill, and his dad grilled out steaks for dinner. Yum! We drove back to MV and stayed there for the night.
He left the next morning for their shows in Michigan, and I headed to Fairview Heights with my mom, Libby, Tracy and Kari. We went to David's Bridal to get Libby's wedding dress, and for us to pick out bridesmaids ones. Here's what I picked out:
The 2 other girls picked out long dresses, but I prefer them short, so it's fine.
We had lunch at TGI Fridays, Coldstone for dessert and headed back to MV. A little later, we headed to Libby's parents for a weenie roast. It was yummy, but I smelled like smoke alllll night. Ugh. I love the smell when I'm there, but it's gross later.

Sunday, I went to Six Flags with Leah. It was a beautiful day and so much fun!! We didn't get to ride a few rides I was excited about, due to technical difficulties or something.... blah blah. It was still fun!! I hope I get to go more next year!

My mom came over Monday night. She had driven my grandma over for eye surgery on Tuesday. She brought me dinner, awww. Then watched TV in my room, while Megan and I watched Chuck and Heroes in the living room. ha.
Tuesday night... I ate waaay too much! I went over to Suhad's. We ordered pizza and watched a million episodes of Flight of the Conchords. I lovvvvvve that show!! She also gave me this Iraqi dessert from her neighbor (not sure what it's called), and more Atayef! :D
She's leaving for Jordan tomorrow!! I'll miss her, but I'm so excited for her!!
