Robbery stuff, Part 2
I was finally starting to feel a little better last night. I had gone into the Police Station to give them my prints, so they could eliminate me from anything they pulled. I asked the lady if idiot robbers ever go back to the same place again, and she said that it was the last place they wanted to be. That was reassuring, because honestly... I was nervous about getting home last night. I had gotten a few things from Borders and Target after work, and hid them when I left. It was probably stupid, but I was scared! The cops at the station seemed to know what was going on with me too, so that made me feel good.
Bad part.. as I was getting ready to get into bed, I noticed something else missing. My acoustic guitar!!! Matt had gotten that for me years ago for Christmas. I had been doing so well, but I started crying again after I saw that. It was 3am, but I called Matt. He's so mad about all of this anyway, and that pissed him off more. I mean, the guitar is replaceable, but it would never be the same. It was a pretty guitar and a present!!! It had sentimental value for me. The sick feeling is back in my stomach, but I hope it's gone soon. :-(
Okay, last night wasn't all bad. I got some fun stuff at Borders and Target! After going to the police station, I met Leah to see "the Jane Austen Book Club." And I lovvve love lovvvved it!! We both did. Seriously, it was so good!! I mean, if you like those types of movies, of course.
I don't have big plans today. I need to clean the apartment... there is black stuff everywhere, where the cop dusted for prints. I also need to run to the grocery store, catch up on some TV, and I might be going over to Suhad & Rami's for a bbq.
One funny thing about the robbery... they stole ALL my DVDs, but left me "the Notebook." Ha! It might have been a mistake and it fell out of MEGAN'S SUITCASE as they were leaving... or maybe they just hated the movie. hehe
