I was robbed. Literally.
I posted this as a bulletin on Myspace, but just wanted to spread the news here too...
Okay, so let's all feel sorry for Sarah and Megan, shall we?
Our apartment was robbed yesterday.
We're both fine, and thankfully it happened while we were gone.
They apparently got in through a window and unlocked the door. Bleh.
I got home around 6pm, so it happened between 8:15am and then.
It was completely surreal.
The punks stole:
ALL of my DVDs/seasons of shows
Leah's Playstation 2 (that I was borrowing)
the video game that was in the PS2 (but they left Megan's Guitar Hero??)
my 35mm camera
Megan's cellphone & laptop!!
They went through our drawers and jewelry, but HA to them, because I own nothing valuable but a ring that I always wear.
I have a sick feeling in my stomach that won't go away.
There are obviously certain things I'm more mad about missing, but it all just pisses me off.
There are no victimless crimes!
I have never had a problem in my neighborhood, so that pisses me off even more!!!!
I called the cops and they came and looked at everything and dusted for prints... so hopefully something will turn up. Dear God, please!
To top it off, I do not have renter's insurance, so I'm screwed.
My birthday is coming up... anyone want to buy me DVDs? HAHA
