La Squadra Azzurra: new and updated.

what do you think i enjoyed the most during yesterday's game? right, there was a commercial with Alessa during one of the substitutions. i was happy to see him)
i would have said that Ale Del Piero was the best yesterday, but alright, let's be adequate.
i loved that azzurri had an offense, even though they didn't score, but at least *at least some of them* looked like an offensive offense.
i'm not the one who would look back in anger and whine about the past, but maybe the secret ingredients La Squadra Azzurra missed in June where Antonio Cassano convocato and Fabio Quagliarella in the starting line-up?

i've got absolutely nothing to say about SuperMario Barwuah because i only started to watch at like the moment Italy conceded and he was replaced shortly after.
i was happy to see Marchisio and Montolivo come out and play because i actually missed them from the beginning. they belong in the national team, you know. from this June, i can't imagine il centrocampo azzurro without these two wonderful guys.

i can't get used to Amauri in azzurro. i get amused by the very sight. and besides, i really am against his playing for Italy - i have absolutely nothing against him as a player, i rather loved him when he first came to Juve and have no bad feeling towards him, but, he's not even an oriundo. and what i personally have always loved about squadra azzurra (apart from them just being the best lol) is that they really have always been Italian players. that opposed them in my eyes to the likes of the French NT without real Frenchmen. i mean, a national team is called national for a reason. and the players should play for their national teams because they are playing for their real Motherland, and it's very emotional, it's not about just wearing a jersey and being a national team player just because it's fucking cool.
i mean, i may be right or wrong but that's what i have always thought.

ok, to hell with it, i just wanted to say, that i really like Cesare Prandelli. i have long wanted to say how happy i am that it is he who became the coach for the national team after Lippi, but i just wanted to wait for his debut. and so here is his debut, and so now i say so :)

amauri, del piero, quagliarella, cassano, prandelli, italian soccer team, soccer
