Things are quite different from when I posted last, I got a new job at Comp USA as a Technology Mentor, basically my job is to help customers find what they are looking for and explain things if they don't understand. I decided awhile ago to leave Walmart. The biggest problem with walmart is they make alot of promises, basically building up alot of hope for something thats never going to happen. I found out that my manager had been promising management positions to a couple of my co-workers, the problem with that is, she was telling us all the same thing, that it was going to be ours soon, they must have thought that we never talked to each other. There are a few other reasons why I left. Attitudes are horrible there, everyone hates it there, they all want to leave, but won't, everyone hates everyone else, and there is tons of backstabbing going on. I can't be around that kinda place. I guess I was just bored, everyday was exactly the same in electronics, customers would come in, ask a bunch of questions, take an hour of my time, then not buy anything, and management would bitch cause sales were down. It was like walking on eggshells alot too, the manangers were ALWAYS looking for reasons to write people up, and in alot cases if they couldn't find any reasons they made shit up. So after 1 year and 1 month I said goodbye to the friends I had made, and informed management that I was leaving, and going to Comp USA.
I will be on a more stable schedule at Comp USA, which will give me a chance to go to school, which both me and Meaghn plan to do after we get married.
Our TV died on Friday night, Meaghn is a TV addict so she got a Bestbuy card on Saturday morning and we went on a shopping spree. Got a Kick ass 27inch Toshiba TV, nothing HD or LCD, but it works for as much as we watch TV. I got an Ipod Nano, a couple of DVD's, and CD's. Meaghn got several DVD's, CD's and a new Digital Camera which we will actually share, so thats cool. I was going to get a DVR, but I wanted a DVD-RW with an 80gig Hard Drive and they didn't have any, just bigger ones that were like 400 bucks, so I decided not to.
Thats about it for now. Now that I'm working at CompUSA and getting bonuses and such, I expect to be getting cool toys more often, plus I get them at cost, which kicks ass.
