Job Stuff, and Movies
Not a ton of new stuff going on right now. I got a call today from my store manager Darla, offering me a chance to go to Sterling Heights and work on the expansion crew. The Sterling Heights Walmart is adding new departments, and I'm heading over there for 6-12 weeks to work overnights basically taking down the departments, and setting them back up in the new spot. I'm not all that nervous, there will be alot of people I don't know, but my buddy John is there too, we work together in Electronics at the White Lake store, so that will be cool. I'll be making more money too, overnighters get the 3rd shift premium, our store is .50 an hour, I don't know what their store is. It will be awesome though. I'll be working 9pm - 6am Sunday - Thursday.
I bought my first TV season box set. I'm pretty happy with it, I got Knight Rider Season... we have 1 and 2 right now for $17.95 each, I picked up 1, and will get 2 next week. We've been dropping the prices, but they come in at certain times, for example. Star Trek The next generation dropped from $100 to $55, Seasons 1 & 2 came in, then went out, and now we have 3, 4, and 5, at that price. My plan is to get 1 and 2 of Knight Rider, and when we lose them and get 3,and 4, I will have them all. Also planning to get Married with Children seasons 1, 2 and 3.
We rented 2 new movies today, The Hills have Eyes (unrated), and Eight Below were released today, I gotta say, The Hills have eyes was probably the bloodiest, most disturbing movie I've seen in like 10 years, possibly ever. I highly recommend it, unless you have a weak stomach.
Eight Below was also good, I love dogs.
